PiXL6
I was approached by some leaders in present PiXL schools to ask whether we would consider extending to PiXL 6, a network for Sixth Form and Colleges. Since then PiXL convened a group conference with twelve interested school leaders to explore possibilities. Their unanimous opinion was it should be offered.
PiXL 6 intends to start with about 50 member schools working under PiXL principles and with PiXL practises and philosophy embedded in all we do. We expect significant outcomes which might just affect the picture in your Sixth Form or College.
If you want to take this exciting journey with us please contact me on therowlings@hotmail.com or via our website. Fees are kept to a minimum because PiXL is a not for profit network and represents outstanding value for money.
I look forward to hearing from you
Sir John Rowling, Director, The PiXL Club
The Moral Purpose
There is a clear moral purpose about PiXL 6 emphasising:
- Every student's aspirations raised and every student supported in achieving them.
- Every student achieving that of which they are capable.
- Every student progressing to the next stage of learning and developing the skills for life-long learning.
- A student-centred approach, with the intention of ensuring each student is either on the right course or helped into employment, whichever is more appropriate.
