Congratulations on your award!

We are all about making a difference to young people. It is at the heart of what PiXL believes and what we do. That is why we are so delighted to be involved in the Teaching Awards, which recognise and celebrate that very thing. The work you do matters. How you do it matters too. We believe that strengthening, supporting and equipping school leaders is one of the very best ways in which we can all continue to make a difference to our children and young people.

As sponsors of the Teaching Awards, we wanted to share with you some of our free school resources — our podcasts and two resource packages.

PiXL Leadership Bookclub podcast. Freely available on SpotifyApple Podcasts and Stitcher

For each episode of PiXL’s Leadership Bookclub, PiXL CEO Rachel Johnson is joined by two school leaders to discuss one non-educational leadership book. Reflecting, they talk about the lessons they have learned about their own leadership, and the result is honest, candid conversation, with practical takeaways for all educators.

We're also in the process of recruiting guest speakers for Series 3, coming out later this term. Would you like the opportunity to discuss your thoughts and insights with Rachel Johnson and one other guest, to an audience of school staff up and down the UK? Hundreds of school staff tune into the podcast fortnightly to reflect on their own leadership and school context and as Silver Award Winners, we know you have so much to share with colleagues across the UK and beyond. Register your interest HERE. We would love to have you involved.

PiXL Pearls podcast. Freely available on SpotifyApple Podcasts and Stitcher

The PiXL Pearls podcast episodes explore different elements of what it is to be a leader and how we can become better leaders. They are provided for everyone on all podcast platforms, with the aim of inspiring, encouraging, motivating and challenging so that school leaders can have an even greater impact.

We also have some free resources that your school can access:
  • PiXL Changemakers: a 12-session initiative to build confidence and encouraging young people to embrace change and develop confidence in the face of adversities. CLICK HERE.
  • PiXL Be Awesome Go Big: a package to help Year 6 students transition into Year 7. It can be used by students and parents at home or in school with teachers in class.
